The Pride in Place plans for Spalding have been submitted to government. You can read the full vision here
The plans have been directly informed by feedback from the community that has been shared over the last eighteen months. The most recent consultation and engagement report can be found here
The plans set out an ambition for the town and priorities for the funding as: safety and security, town centre revitalisation, town centre business diversification, cultural and heritage provision, and events and markets.
A huge thank you to everyone who has played a role in the development of the Pride in Place plans for Spalding. The Board is very grateful to everyone who has got involved and shared their views to shape these plans.
A response from government to the plans is expected in early 2026 with the first tranche of funding to be released in April 2026.
Further work will be taking place to develop the detailed projects and activities. There will be more opportunities for local people to get involved in the coming months.
