This year Spalding Town Board has been delighted to finalise and submit to government the Pride in Place plans for Spalding. Our submission sets out an exciting vision for the future for our town and pinpoints some key themes for investment which fit with what we have heard from the community in the consultation we’ve carried out over the last couple of years.
We couldn’t have reached this point without local people, and so, as we head towards the end of 2025, I want to say a sincere thank you from the board. Thank you to everyone who has had their say. Based on what we’ve heard, we’ve come up with exciting plans for Spalding that will benefit all of us.
In the new year, we look forward to hearing back from the government and with the first lot of funding expected in April 2026, we can move forward turning the plans into reality. And, what will be absolutely vital is continuing to work with our local community in the months and years ahead.
